Here, in the shadow of fairy-tale castles and Renaissance residences, was once the home of the Kings of France, before their court moved to Paris. The ever-present figure of Catherine de’ Medici, who still fascinates with her elusive spirit, infused this region with a Renaissance atmosphere that can still be admired today,” emphasizes Bartosz.
